Sven Gustafson, Stonewood focuses on building a select number of high-end custom homes each year to ensure every client and project receives dedicated attention and meticulous coordination. The team of professional project managers is trained to meet Stonewood’s exacting standards, emphasizing quality, client collaboration, and long-term relationships. Role Description The Landscape Designer, Project Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Wayzata, MN, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for designing custom landscape plans that complement Stonewood’s homes, including outdoor living spaces, plantings, hardscapes, and site features. Project management skills covering scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, and on-site supervision. Strong client-facing skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to present and revise design concepts based on feedback. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, grading, drainage, and local codes or permitting requirements relevant to landscape projects. Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing time effectively between office, remote work, and job sites. Collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with architects, builders, subcontractors, and vendors. Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, landscape design, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience with high-end residential projects and custom home environments is highly beneficial.
